Adopt a Pelican Fundraiser.

4pm – 7pm
at: Tarpon Lodge Hotel in the shade of Island House.

Live Auction of 23 wall art pelicans which are sponsored by local businesses who commission Island artists to paint and adorn them into fabulous works of art.

The completed pelicans will be on display prior to the event at:
Centennial Bank,
Sweeney’s SOS,
Salty Girls Island Cafe,
Spots Ice Cream
Matlacha Menagerie
and the Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center. 

Click HERE for pictures of the completed pelicans and online pre bidding, which will continue until noon on Friday October 10. The highest pre-bids will be the opening bids at the Live Auction.

The event will be held at the Tarpon Lodge, in the shade at Island House. This lovely outdoor setting will set the tone for a wonderful fun casual time. The bar will be open and a lighter fare menu offered if you would like.

Starting at 4pm there will be time to see and enjoy the 23 Pelican on display. Make sure you arrive early, as thanks to our sponsors Matlacha Menagerie and Koucky Studios, we will have a complimentary “Pelican Punch” cocktail for you to enjoy as well as exciting door prizes being given away. Bob Mueller will be entertaining us with his fabulous island blend music.

 5pm our island resident auctioneer, Jeff Sterner will take the microphone and start things rolling.

This great fundraiser helps support Pine Island Businesses and the Calusa land Trust .
